ORANGE MAGAZINE
Branding/Social Media/Art Direction/Layout Design
ORANGE Magazine is an independent student-run magazine based in Austin, Tx. The Magazine focuses on Pop Culture, Art, Music, Lifestyle, and culture geared towards students studying at the University of Texas. During My time at ORANGE Magazine, I spearheaded two print issues, one zine, and oversaw online website content. I also created assets for our social media pages and worked with my Co-Editors to develop ORANGE's online presence & brand. The following are selections from the two print issues I helped bring to life during my time at ORANGE.

The Dreamer's Issue
FALL 2020. Graphic Design/Editorial Design/Layout Design
Collaborator: Anna Sing
In the Fall of 2020, my collaborator (Anna Sing) and I designed the 1st Volume of ORANGE Magazine's print series. I was the Creative Director for this print issue and focused on the layout design of the issue while also creating content for social media. I also art-directed the main photoshoot for the issue.
(All of the selected layouts and assets shown were designed solely by me, with the exclusion of the full linked issue pdf.)

Dreamers
When planning this issue, my co-editors and I described the feeling of feeling out-of-touch with our own lives. We were in college but also not in college, trying to mimic the feeling of being together through a computer screen. This led to conversations about "dreaming" and an urge to escape the reality we were in. Running with that concept, we developed a more experimental issue with a focus on college, hang made aesthetics, and a surreal atmosphere.
